TCC Promotes Brad Maples to Principal in Austin

AUSTIN, TX – January 10, 2017 – Trammell Crow Company (TCC) announces that Brad Maples has been promoted to Principal with the firm’s Austin Business Unit. In this role, Brad will continue to oversee development and acquisition activities throughout the Austin area, including sourcing new opportunities, developing capital relationships, and helping to manage the company’s entitlement, development and repositioning strategies. 

“Brad has a natural instinct as a deal-maker and leader,” said Adam Nims, Principal of TCC’s Austin Business Unit​. “He has effectively led Trammell Crow Company’s development of Parmer (a 300 acre master planned business park) in Northeast Austin and the EXPO Business Park in Southeast Austin, originated the company’s investment in Park183 (a master planned industrial development in Southeast Austin), and has played an important role in the Company’s redevelopment of the former Thomas Green Water Treatment Plant in downtown. While the diversity of his experience is impressive, the true value of Brad’s contributions to the team is his ability to consistently and effectively produce results. He is completely reliable and always willing to complete the task at hand.”

Maples joined TCC Austin in 2005 and has contributed to the development of more than 4 million square feet of commercial real estate, valued at more than $800 million. An 11-year industry veteran, he has sourced and executed new development and acquisition projects spanning nearly every product type throughout Austin. 

Maples is as a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, the Urban Land Institute’s Austin Chapter, is a LEED® Accredited Professional, and serves on the Cypress Circle Steering Committee for The Trail Foundation.
