Adam  Weers


Adam Weers is a Principal at Trammell Crow Company with over a decade of commercial real estate development and finance experience. Adam currently manages the Shops at Dakota Crossing project, a 430,000 SF shopping center located in Washington, DC with high-profile tenants including Costco, Lowe’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, PetSmart and Marshall’s; as well as the McMillan Healthcare Campus, a 1,000,000 SF component of the multi-phased, mixed-use redevelopment of the former McMillan sand filtration site in Washington, DC.

Adam has worked on a variety of projects and product types including the St. Matthew’s redevelopment in Southwest, Washington, DC, The Gateway Grand condominium in Ocean City, MD, Shirlington Village condominium in Arlington, VA, and the acquisition and development of the 96-acre South Kitchener Industrial Park outside of Toronto, ON.

In addition, Adam manages the company’s New Market Tax Credit platform which has received eight NMTC allocations from the CDFI Fund since 2004 totaling $650 million, and has placed approximately $600 million of these tax credits into real estate projects across the country. Adam serves on Trammell Crow Company’s Diversity and Inclusion Initiative Steering Committee which is tasked with advising the firm’s Executive Committee on matters related to diversity and inclusion and assisting in the creation of programs to attract more diverse pools of professionals, capital and projects to the firm.
