Mr. Mele is Senior Vice President in the Company’s Northeast Metro Division. Mr. Mele is responsible for development (ground up and re-development) and acquisition activity in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York.
Since entering the real estate industry in 1991, Mr. Mele has enjoyed a uniquely diverse career path. Mr. Mele’s responsibilities have included all aspects related to the development, financing, leasing and management of both speculative and build-to-suit projects.

Since rejoining TCC in 2005, Mr. Mele has been involved and the development of approximately 2 million square of industrial space and is currently working on multiple projects totaling over 375 acres.

Planned, organized and led all aspects of Liberty Property Trust’s entry into the Houston, Texas market. While in Houston, Mr. Mele acquired and/or developed 1.5 million square feet of industrial space and negotiated over 1 million square feet of new leases. Prior to moving to Houston, Mr. Mele worked in the acquisitions/dispositions group where he bought or sold over 3.1 million square feet of real estate on behalf of Liberty in less than two years.
