WASHINGTON, DC – November 20, 2015 Trammell Crow Company (TCC) and Keane Enterprises are proud to announce that the K2M Global Headquarters lease has been awarded NAIOP Northern Virginia’s “Award of Excellence” for 2015 in the Best Real Estate Transaction category.
The Project’s 146,000 square foot lease represents the largest new lease in the 4th quarter of 2014 across the entire Northern Virginia market. The lease is a big win for the Commonwealth of Virginia, Loudoun County and the Town of Leesburg, keeping a large employer and 10-year corporate partner in the area. The deal allows for the creation of more than 100 new jobs and the retention of more than 300 existing jobs.
The build-to-suit, located in Leesburg, VA, features 146,000 SF of rentable space in two buildings, a 62,000 SF office building and an 84,000 SF production facility housing Research & Development functions, assembly, and shipping. K2M, Inc. (NYSE: KTWO) is a leading global medical device company focused on designing, developing and commercializing innovative complex spine technologies and spinal surgery techniques.
Construction began in December 2014 and the base building delivered in October 2015. Tenant improvement work is underway and the Tenant is scheduled to occupy the building by Q2 2016.
