Net Absorption in 2020 recorded 22.4 million SF, 6% higher than 2019 figure
- As of the close of 2020, the 13 main industrial markets added up to a net absorption of more than 22.4 million sq. ft., a figure 6% higher than that registered during 2019 (21.0 million sq. ft.)
- During 2020, the asking lease price for industrial buildings remained stable respect to the close of the previous year, the national average rose USD $0.14 to stand at USD $5.08 per sq. ft. per year.
- Construction of class A industrial space in the 13 markets monitored added some 23.5 million sq. ft., a figure 17% higher than the space under construction registered as of the close of 2019 (20 million sq. ft.)
