Jim Matoushek serves as Chief Financial Officer of Trammell Crow Company (TCC). He leads the Company’s Accounting and Finance functions and is responsible for the overall budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, both external and internal, for the Company and its $8.8 billion inventory of investment and development projects.
Matoushek has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate accounting and finance and has been with TCC since 1987, beginning his career as the Senior Controller for the Central Texas region. In this role, Matoushek had overall accounting responsibilities for the region’s operating business as well as their owned and managed real estate portfolios. He was promoted to Principal in 1997. In addition to his accounting responsibilities, Matoushek assisted in the underwriting, financing and development of hundreds of millions of dollars of new developments and acquisitions in the Central Texas region. He was promoted to his current role as Chief Financial Officer in 2012.
Matoushek began his career at Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte) as an auditor. He spent 6 years in public accounting and before joining TCC, he was in a senior financial position at a real estate company specializing in apartments. He is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Matoushek earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin. He is a certified public accountant for the State of Texas.
