Professional Experience
Lindsey Caplan serves as Global Chief Financial Officer of CBRE’s Real Estate Investments (REI) business segment operations, which includes CBRE Global Investors, the company’s global real asset investment management business, Trammell Crow Company (TCC), its real estate development services business, and Hana, the firm’s flexible/agile space offering, a position he has held since February 2020. He has responsibility for the finance, accounting and investor reporting functions for REI.
Mr. Caplan previously served as Chief Financial Officer of CBRE’s Americas Advisory business and earlier as Senior Vice President, Global Financial Planning & Analysis, where he led a team focused on annual budget and forecast preparation, management reporting, capital planning, global line of business support and support their development and use of business intelligence, analytics, and other projects.
Previously, he was Vice President, Americas Finance, where he led management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic recruiting analyses, U.S. general ledger accounting, and M&A due diligence for the Americas business as well as responsibility for global shared services finance and global capital planning and forecasting. Prior to that role, he served as Vice President, Global Financial Planning & Analysis, and Director, Corporate Development.
Mr. Caplan joined CBRE in 2006 from Marsh Inc., where he was Vice President, Strategic Development. Earlier in his career he worked in the Transaction Services Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Caplan received a Master of Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Michigan.

Prior roles with CBRE included Vice President, Americas Finance, Vice President, Global Financial Planning & Analysis, and Director, Corporate Development.
