Overview
Riverside University Health System (RUHS) Medical Office Building is a new 200,000-square-foot, 3-story medical office that will be occupied by RUHS. The facility will occupy 17.4 acres on the southern portion of the 80-acre RUHS medical center campus and will also feature a single-story 7,000-square-foot lobby and café. The medical office building and the existing medical center will be linked by a second-floor pedestrian bridge.
The new medical office building will bring new specialty physician groups, an outpatient surgery center and expanded pharmacy services to RUHS Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California.
Opportunity
By providing an array of quality outpatient services, RUHS officials say they will be better positioned to attract private insurance carriers and reduce overhead associated with more-costly inpatient care. The project will also improve access to a variety of services in a region where many residents still seek healthcare in neighboring counties.
