33,660-square-foot redevelopment of Puget Sound’s largest utility provider’s Emergency Storm Center.
Project Start: 2020
Project Completion: May 2022 (projected)
The project consists of the complete redevelopment of PSE’s existing Puyallup Service Center. The project was redeveloped in phases to ensure PSE’s critical
operations could continue uninterrupted during the entire duration of the project. The project also included the successful relocation and construction of a new, modern Emergency Storm Center fully equipped with cutting edge technology systems.
The redevelopment included construction of a two-story office building, a line production building attached to the two-story office building, and a detached vehicle maintenance building, along with site and right of way (ROW) improvements.
The two-story office building includes open offices, conference rooms, focus rooms, exercise room, multipurpose room, breakrooms, and emergency operations storm center.
The line production building includes workshops, storage rooms, warehouses, meter rooms, and a large loading dock with six bays and two dock levelers.
The vehicle maintenance building is strategically located in the middle of the operations yard, and includes a weather protected, covered area for vehicle
maintenance and a large storage room for convenient access to needed parts and accessories.
