Ann Sperling Re-Joins TCC in Denver
Ann Sperling has re-joined the Company’s Denver Business Unit as Senior Director.

Trammell Crow Company, one of the nation’s leading developers and investors in commercial real estate, announces that Ann Sperling has re-joined the Company’s Denver Business Unit as Senior Director. In her new role, she will focus on principal and fee based commercial real estate development across all product types throughout Colorado, including the sourcing of new projects and working with existing and prospective capital partners.

Ann previously served as President, Markets West for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where she oversaw two thirds of the Company’s U.S. market’s strategies and financial performance across business and product lines throughout the Midwest, Texas, Colorado, California, Pacific Northwest, and Arizona. During her four years with the firm, she also served as Chief Operating Officer, Americas, based in Chicago, responsible for the delivery of JLL’s Americas’ strategic and financial plan for real estate services, representing more than 14,000 employees throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America. In addition, she oversaw finance, human resources, IT, marketing, communications, research, engineering, energy, sustainability and legal functions.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, she served as Managing Director at Catellus Development Group in Denver, a business then owned by ProLogis, where she oversaw strategy, finance, operations and marketing for new and existing mixed-use developments.
Ann began her career with Trammell Crow Company. During her 25-year tenure, she held a variety of roles, most recently Area Director and Senior Managing Director for the Rocky Mountain Region. Ann was named the first female partner at Trammell Crow Company.

Ann is a member of Women Corporate Directors, Executive Women in Corporate Real Estate, the Colorado University Real Estate National Advisory Board and the Chicago Economic Club. She has also been active in the Denver civic community, having served as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee of Colorado Children’s Hospital, on the Executive Committee of Colorado Outward Bound School, and recently joined the Community Advisory Board of the Charles C. Gates Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Biology. She is Vice Chair of her Council with Urban Land Institute (ULI) and has previously held leadership roles with National Association of Industrial Office Properties (NAIOP), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). In 2009, Ann was named the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) “Woman of Influence” in Denver. She has also received recognition from National Real Estate Investor and Real Estate Forum.
Ann holds a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Psychology from Tufts University.
