The Residences at Kingwood Will Bring 240 Garden Apartments and 49 Townhomes to Kingwood Neighborhood

High Street Residential, the residential subsidiary of Trammell Crow Company, and JV Partner Daiwa House Group have broken ground on the Residences at Kingwood, a garden-style multifamily community located in Kingwood, the largest master-planned community in Harris County. The project will deliver 240 garden apartment homes and 49 townhomes when it is completed in late 2023.

The Residences at Kingwood will offer homes ranging in size from one to three bedrooms and will feature stainless steel appliances, in-unit washers and dryers, custom cabinetry, and nine-foot ceiling heights. Select units will also offer walk-in closets, private outdoor space, and one- or two-car garages. The development will have a desirable amenity collection that includes a resort-style pool; grilling areas; a fitness center with a yoga & Pilates studio, and an outdoor workout area; a resident lounge with an art gallery and an entertaining kitchen, along with a conferencing and remote-work suite; a pet grooming center; and on-site storage. Residents will also have access to ample outdoor recreation options, including a putting green, bocce courts, pickle ball court, multiple outdoor dining areas, and connection to the Kingwood Greenbelt trail system.

“Residences at Kingwood is designed as a sophisticated suburban apartment community with an emphasis on outdoor amenities, as evidenced by the various courtyards and open entertaining spaces that will be placed throughout the development,” said Yewande Fapohunda, Senior Vice President of High Street Residential. “When combined with thoughtful landscaping, which will include tree preservation, we believe that the community will complement and integrate well with the greater Kingwood neighborhood.”

W Partnership is the development’s architect and Robinson & Company will lead the landscape architectural design. Cadence McShane is the general contractor.

Located at 6519 Kings River Commercial Drive, the Residences at Kingwood are situated 30 miles northeast of Houston in the master-planned Kingwood community, known as the "livable forest." The development is zoned to highly rated schools and near multiple neighborhood parks, championship golf courses, and Lake Houston. The property is a convenient commute to George Bush Intercontinental Airport, the Port of Houston, and other employment centers in the northeast Houston area.
