Nick Buehner Joins Trammell Crow Company as Assistant General Counsel, Director – Risk Management

Trammell Crow Company (TCC), one of the largest real estate development companies in the U.S., has hired Nick Buehner as Assistant General Counsel, Director – Risk Management. Buehner will work directly with the firm’s General Counsel, Lisa Sher, and his responsibilities will include assessing the risk profile for real estate transactions, coordinating and securing interim construction loans, and negotiating equity partnerships for various commercial real estate development and investment projects. He will be based in Dallas.

“Nick will play a crucial role in driving forward many of the TCC’s development projects across the U.S. and Europe,” said Lisa Sher, General Counsel for TCC. “Nick has great experience in real estate law and has worked with our team in one of his previous roles while at Vinson & Elkins. We are thrilled to have him join our in-house team.”

Buehner joins TCC from Goldman Sachs, where he was Senior Counsel for the Asset Management Division's real estate investing business. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he was an attorney at Vinson & Elkins.

Buehner earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his MBA from Yale University. He holds a JD from Stanford Law School.
