The Atlanta Business Unit of Trammell Crow Company (TCC), one of the nation’s largest commercial real estate developers and investors, and its residential subsidiary, High Street Residential (HSR), announced that it has been selected by Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures (GATV), a cooperative organization of Georgia Tech, as the developer of the remaining phases of Technology Enterprise Park (TEP). Together with their partners TCC and HSR plan to deliver a leading mixed-use, life science center for inclusive innovation. Construction is slated to begin Q1 2022.
“This project is an opportunity for our firm to develop deeper roots in the local Atlanta community, which will directly benefit from a significant grant by each of the planned five project phases to establish a sustainable education and training program at TEP for residents, students, and teachers in surrounding neighborhoods to expose them to careers in the biomedical and life sciences industry. We look forward to collaborating with GATV and community stakeholders during the next steps in the development process,” said Brandon Houston, Principal of TCC Atlanta.
TEP currently has two existing buildings that house research and lab space. TCC will begin the park’s long-term expansion with Phase 1, which will consist of two buildings that include 370,000 square feet of lab and office space and 280 residential apartments.
