Overview
Located at nexus of the Texas Medical Center and Rice University, this building serves as a collaborative research facility for the study of a wide range of bioscience and bio-engineering areas, between Rice University and member institutions of the Texas Medical Center. The BRC is a catalyst for innovation and collaboration in leading research that benefits human medicine and health. As consultant to Rice University for this unique project, TCC advised Rice University on a variety of issues related to the development of the facility. This included five years on the project team (2005-2010), providing consulting services through the predevelopment, financing, design, construction, and leasing phases.
