Three Trammell Crow Company Employees Across the U.S. Earn 2019 Next Generation Award

Trammell Crow Company (TCC) is pleased to announce that three of its employees across the U.S. were included in Connect Media’s 2019 Next Generation Awards. The award recognizes young professionals in the real estate business who stand out because of their talent, drive and fresh ideas. TCC’s 2019 award recipients are Matteo Pacifici, John Carlson and Deniz Arac.

Matteo Pacifici, a vice president in the firm’s Austin Business Unit, is responsible for sourcing and executing development opportunities for a wide range of projects and product types including office, residential, retail, and mixed-use developments. Since joining TCC in 2016, Matteo has become a trusted resource to the firm and to TCC’s equity and debt partners across the portfolio. Of his work ethic, Managing Director Adam Nims said, “Matteo does a fantastic job of taking initiative and working without specific direction to solve problems and identify new opportunities. He consistently reinforces the trust that our partners have placed in him and the confidence we have that he will continue to make giant strides in his career.”

John Carlson, a principal in the firm’s Midwest Business Unit, is responsible for development and acquisition activities throughout Chicago, Minneapolis and the Upper Midwest, sourcing new opportunities, developing capital relationships managing the firm’s entitlement, development and repositioning strategies. Having been with TCC for the past seven years, John has been a part of $750 million worth of development activities, including three NAIOP award-winning projects. Of John’s professional success, Managing Director Grady Hamilton said, “John has demonstrated great instincts and intuition at a young age. He’s bright, competitive, dedicated and possesses the ability to develop strong relationships with all members of a project. He has found a way to broaden his knowledge from every deal he is a part of and apply those lessons learned to new opportunities.”

Deniz Arac, a development manager for the firm’s Portland Business Unit, is responsible for the successful delivery and closeout of development projects and for the day-to-day coordination of design consultants, general contractors, inspectors, City and other agency officials, property managers and leasing teams. In addition, Deniz handles project development budgets, schedules and the communication for overall project progress. Speaking of Deniz’s Next Generation award, Senior Managing Director Steve Wells said, “Deniz is a key part of our team in Portland, successfully balancing several different facets of a development project. He has a keen ability to keep the entire team on track and updated, which is crucial when it comes to delivering on-time, positive results for our clients. All the while, Deniz is able to successfully help us garner new business through his work in the RFP/RFQ process. His professional future is bright, and I look forward to watching him continue to develop his career with TCC.”
