Midtown Business Center Brings Unique Infill Development Opportunity To The North Central Industrial Submarket Of Minneapolis
ROSEVILLE, MN – Trammell Crow Company (TCC), one of the nation’s largest commercial real estate developers and investors, announce plans to develop a 185,470 square foot speculative industrial development in Roseville, MN. The project, known as “Midtown Business Center”, is located on approximately 13 acres. Construction is scheduled to commence in July 2013 and be completed by December 2013.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to be working with TCC on the Midtown Business Center project,” said Matt Oelschlager, First Vice President with CBRE’s Bloomington, MN office. “It provides a unique opportunity to the market offering Class A industrial space in a prime in-fill location. We’re confident it will be a very successful project.”
Midtown Business Center provides a unique infill development opportunity in the North Central industrial submarket of Minneapolis, MN. The 13-acre land site sits within a highly active industrial park and offers direct access to I-35W, MN-36 and MN-280. In addition, the parcel is four miles from the Minneapolis CBD, making it the nearest-in site to the City of Minneapolis that can provide a project of this size. The proposed building features 32’ clear height, 28 loading docks, 2 drive-in doors, a ESFR sprinkler system, 24 trailer drops and 155 car parking spaces.
Located in the center of the Minneapolis metropolitan area, Midtown Business Center is highly accessibly to all major interstate systems that encircle the metropolitan area, making it an ideal location to support region-wide distribution. The project is only .8 miles to the ramp for I-35W, which serves the I-694/494 loop and I-94/394.
Edward Farr Architects will serve as lead architect for the project and R.J. Ryan Construction will serve as the project’s general contractor. Matt Oelschlager and John Ryden of CBRE’s Bloomington, MN office are the listing brokers for Midtown Business Center.
