Trammell Crow Company Announces Construction Milestone at Innovation Business Center in Newnan, Georgia

The Atlanta office of Trammell Crow Company (TCC), along with its JV partner Diamond Realty Investments, announced that construction has gone vertical at the Innovation Business Center in Newnan, Georgia. The 403,648-square-foot business center is located 37 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta within the Shenandoah Industrial Park. Innovation Business Center includes two single-story buildings; the North Building will span 201,740 square feet and the South Building will include 201,908 square feet. Construction is slated to be completed at the end of 2020.

The buildings at the Innovation Business Center, located at 185 and 195 Innovation Way, will feature 32-foot clear heights, 60-foot dock bays, a 185-foot truck court with 115 trailer spaces, 375 automobile parking spaces, and an ESFR fire sprinkler system.

“Construction is progressing well and on time at the Innovation Business Center, which is well connected to the Atlanta suburbs via Interstate 85,” said Chris Eagen, Vice President of TCC Atlanta. “This property is very well suited for medium-to-large-scale industrial users that are working to meet increasing demands from businesses and consumers for faster and more efficient shipping capabilities. We look forward to delivering the project in December.”

Ware Malcomb is the project’s architect. Catamount Constructors is acting as the general contractor, Eberly & Associates is the project’s civil engineer and landscape architect, Haines Gipson & Associates is the structural engineer, and Jordan & Skala Engineers is acting as the MEP engineer.

The CBRE team of Mark Hawks, Todd Barton and Joanna Blaesing is handling the marketing and leasing of the property.
