Trammell Crow Company (TCC), a leading commercial real estate developer, is expanding its Midwest industrial team with the hiring of Cal Kropke as a Vice President. In this role, Cal will be responsible for sourcing and overseeing new industrial development opportunities throughout the Midwest. Based in Chicago, Cal will work directly under Josh Udelhofen, who leads TCC’s industrial development team throughout the Midwest.

“We are thrilled to welcome Cal back to TCC,” said Udelhofen, a Principal with TCC. “His years of experience in the industrial real estate sector, not only on the development side but also on the brokerage and lending side, make him a triple threat and a huge asset to our team. We look forward to his contributions in driving our growth and success."

Cal joins TCC from JLL, where he quickly progressed from Analyst to Associate to a Director of Industrial Capital Markets. His responsibilities included underwriting, due diligence, marketing, and client management, and he was involved in more than $2.3 billion in closed industrial transactions. Prior to JLL, he also worked in Commercial Lending at Wintrust Financial Corporation and began his real estate career as an intern with TCC in Chicago.

Cal earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University.
