TCC Promotes Adam Nims to Managing Director in Austin

Trammell Crow Company has promoted Adam Nims to Managing Director. In this role as head of the firm’s Austin office, he will continue to oversee all development and acquisition projects throughout Austin and Central Texas, new business pursuits, finance and overall day-to-day operations.

Nims previously served as a Principal. He joined TCC in 2007 and he has been involved in a wide range of product types including urban mixed-use, high rise office, high rise residential, transit-oriented development, suburban office, healthcare and industrial, most notably leading the execution of TCC’s agreement with the City of Austin to redevelop the former Thomas Green Water Treatment Plant in downtown Austin. He has over 15 years of industry experience in varied aspects of commercial real estate including construction management, development management, marketing, valuation and finance.  
 
Nims is a board member of the Downtown Austin Alliance and the Real Estate Council of Austin. He earned his MBA from Harvard University and his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University.
