New Urban Dealership Redefines Efficiency and Customer Experience
LOS ANGELES, CA – February 5, 2018 – Construction on the new Toyota Dealership of Downtown Los Angeles is complete and open for business. The 4-tier, 302,000-square-foot facility features a 30,000-foot, 2-story showroom with vehicle display, a 45-bay below grade service department, work stations for 85 employees, 550 parking stalls and a wholesale and retail parts boutique. Located at the corner of Figueroa and Washington, the dealership is one of the nation’s busiest, and features vertical integration of dealership elements, with the first below grade service department for Toyota. The expansive 60,000-square-foot mechanical shop will service up to 200 vehicles per day.

The 1.6-acre site is located on the southwest corner of Figueroa and Washington. Construction was executed in 16 months and included 103 concrete pours, 34,000 pounds of steel, 1,050 light fixtures, and 1,100 personnel working 76,000 man hours.

was the master developer of the building. The project architect is PDS Architects, ConAm Building Company served as the contractor and Ware Malcom provided tenant improvement architecture and interior design.
