Trammell Crow Company Promotes Greg Ames to Business Unit Leader For TCC Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA. – Trammell Crow Company (TCC) announces that Greg Ames has been promoted to Business Unit Leader for the firm’s SoCal-Los Angeles Business Unit.  In this new role, he will assume responsibility for all development and acquisition projects, sourcing new pursuits, finance and overall day-to-day operations of the office. He will also set the strategic direction of the business and oversee the financial, risk management, and human resource functions. Greg assumes the role from Brad Cox, who served as the SoCal-Los Angeles Business Unit leader for 13 years. Brad will continue to serve as a Senior Managing Director, working with Greg in the pursuit of world-class development and investment opportunities throughout Greater Los Angeles.

A 16-year industry veteran, Greg joined TCC in 2004 and has since directed over $1.8 billion in developments and acquisitions in Greater Los Angeles and managed the finance and execution side of the office, including accountability for all budgets, schedules, project financials, and development activities. He has successfully executed the development of a wide range of product types and has a demonstrated acumen for complex ownership and creative finance structures, including overseeing several notable projects, including 2000 Avenue of the Stars, a medical & health science facility for USC and the County of Los Angeles, Compton Brickyard, and Vermont Corridor.
