Associated Office
Joe Whitebread serves as a Senior Development Manager for TCC’s MidAtlantic office. In this role, he supports the acquisition team with new pursuits and manages and executes the complete life cycle of projects including due diligence, hiring of design and project teams, project design, obtaining entitlements and permits, budgeting, and construction through project lease up, turnover, and close out. Currently Joe is focused on industrial development, in particular complex entitlement situations and multi-phase projects.
In his 15+ years in real estate, Joe has a diverse background as a formerly licensed professional and civil engineer with experience in residential, commercial and large transportation projects. Joe has also been responsible for land acquisition, due diligence and underwriting of new projects for one of the largest homebuilding and development firms in the country.
Recently Joe has delivered an approximately 687,000 SF cross dock warehouse in Frederick Maryland as one phase of the multi-phase Frederick Commerce Center. Additionally he recently received approval from both the City of Frederick and Frederick County to annex approximately 245 AC into the City and rezone it to light industrial, facilitating the expansion of Frederick Commerce Center to a full buildout anticipated at over 3,000,000 SF of Class A product.
Joe is also managing the development and construction of approximately 383,000 SF of Class A Logistics space across two buildings delivering 1Q2025. This is first phase of Hanover Logistics Park in the BW Corridor in MD which will have a full buildout of ~613,000 SF.
