John Hickman is the Executive Director for Telford Homes. In his role, John has responsibility for and oversight of the Finance function for Trammell Crow Company in Europe. He is responsible for TCC's statutory compliance, tax, financial planning and analysis, debt funding, compliance and SOX. John is a member of the firm’s Leadership team and is based in London.
John has over 25 years’ experience in various finance roles and 20 plus years post-qualification experience. He joined Telford Homes in 2011 as financial controller before taking on the role as Telford’s Operational Finance Director in 2017. He helped to oversee the integration of the Telford business following the acquisition by Trammell Crow Company in 2019, including expansion of the overall finance function, adoption of US GAAP and SOX requirements.
In 2022, John took on responsibility of the European Logistics business finance function and helped set up the finance team and systems for the business. John now focuses on integrating the Finance team to becoming a strategic partner to the business and ensuring the team helps to drive the future growth and expansion plans across Europe.
