Thomas serves as Vice President for TCC’s Seattle office where he oversees development projects. His areas of expertise include due diligence, project budgeting and conceptual estimating, entitlements, design team management, and construction management with a focus on multi-family and biotechnology sectors.
Tom has managed several multi-family housing projects totaling over $300M in development budget in multiple markets, including Seattle and Las Vegas. Notable Seattle projects include Green Lake Village, a 297 unit, 477,000 SF, 3 building apartment project with 51,000 SF of retail, and 200 W Highland Condominiums, a 7 story, 25 unit, 96,000 SF luxury condominium. In Las Vegas, Tom managed the design, permitting and construction of Streamline Tower, a 275 unit, 640,000 SF, 22 story downtown condominium with 5 levels of parking and 12,000 SF of retail.
Tom has direct biotechnology experience, having worked 6 years in-house for the ICOS Corporation. He managed all capital projects ranging from R&D laboratories to offices in a FDA regulated environment in all eight buildings totaling over 325,000 SF and spanning multiple jurisdictions. Serving as an owner’s representative, Tom has managed two other laboratory projects: Dendreon’s Corporate HQ & Laboratories Project and Center for Urban Waters, a new LEED Platinum, water-testing facility for the City of Tacoma.
