Overview
Glasshouse is a five-story, 319-unit residential community located at 160 E Station Square Drive, the site of some of Pittsburgh’s historic glassmaking factories, and features 3,000 square feet of available ground-floor retail space. Glasshouse offers junior one-, one-, one+den- and two-bedroom residences ranging in size from 610 to 1,300 square feet.Amenities at the riverfront property include a resort-style club room, a game room, an e-lounge, an entertainment kitchen, a fitness center, a conference center, and a dog spa. The interior amenities overlook Glasshouse’s outdoor amenity area, which features meticulously landscaped courtyards, a zero-edge pool, multiple outdoor kitchens and a large turf area for movies and recreational activities. Residents also have access to 335 indoor parking spaces and multiple bike storage locations, as well as an on-site HealthyRide bike share station. The project incorporated many sustainable building features and is National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Certified.
Glasshouse is situated along the Monongahela River, adjacent to the Great Allegheny Passage, a walking/running/biking trail system that, with the C&O Canal, forms a contiguous link between Pittsburgh and Washington D.C. Residents will have pedestrian access to Station Square, the mixed-use conversion project that features several office, retail and entertainment options. Glasshouse is easily accessible to major interstate highways, including I-279 North, I-376 East and West, and is close to downtown Pittsburgh’s Golden Triangle via the Smithfield Street bridge.
