Overview
Kenswick AirFreight & Logistics Center (KAFLC) is a 37-acre industrial park located adjacent to the IAH CargoCenter, also known as the “East Cargo Area”. The East Cargo Area opened in 2003 and serves as the primary cargo area for IAH. The first phase of KAFLC was completed in 2007, consists of two rear-load office/warehouse buildings totaling 164,750 square feet on 11.25 acres, Phase two was completed in 2013 and consists of building three and building four totaling 133,250 square feet on 12.8 acres. The buildings were designed to serve tenants involved with the forwarding, packaging, crating, handling, and distribution of air cargo. The project design is versatile and are similar to other recent successful projects near Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport (“IAH”). The third phase completed in 2015 was a build-to-suit for DB Schenker, for an office/warehouse building totaling 150,000 square feet. Currently, 12.24 acres remain and are actively being marketed for build-to-suit.
