Overview
Olympus on Main, situated on four acres, consists of two 4-story multifamily buildings containing 352 units and 4,025 square feet of restaurant space. The development has more than 9,000 square feet of indoor amenity, fitness, and leasing space, along with a large resort style pool courtyard featuring Class A residential amenities and three additional quiet courtyards. This represents the third phase of the Union at Carrollton Square development. The City of Carrollton issued a RFQ for a Master Developer for the three rail stations along the DART Green Line in November 2007. High Street Residential (‘HSR’) was selected and moved forward in working with the City to complete concept planning and enter into a formal public-private partnership agreement.
Union at Carrollton Square Phase I totals 179 units and 4,658 square feet of restaurant space (occupied by Twisted Root Burger). Union at Carrollton Square Phase II totals 132 units. Olympus on Main builds off the success and momentum created by the first two phases in Downtown Carrollton.
Union at Carrollton Square is the City of Carrollton’s first major transit-oriented residential development and is situated adjacent to the downtown Carrollton Green Line DART station, providing residents a short commute to both Dallas and Las Colinas. The Orange Line, which connects with the Green Line, also connects residents to the north entrance of the DFW International Airport. The Union brings a new walkable urban lifestyle to the area, allowing residents to benefit from convenient access to mass transit, daily services and event venues.
The successful partnership between HSR and the City of Carrollton provided the City with an opportunity to add quality housing and additional density to their historic downtown. The Union at Carrollton Square is proud to have played a role in this unique downtown’s growth – from contributing a popular restaurant to spurring additional multifamily developments for the increasing demand.
