The project is ideally located in the Crestview Commons master planned community just north of the Austin CBD and provides a transit-oriented opportunity with convenient access to Austin’s MetroRail, Lamar Blvd. and numerous retail amenities.

Magnolia at Crestview Station consists of 177,526 RSF totaling 226 multifamily units. Amenities include a sky lounge with views of downtown, two fitness and social courtyards, a large and well-equipped fitness center, large adjacent community dog park, conference room, resident lounge and  entertaining kitchen.

Opportunity, Solutions & Outcomes

The critical initiative of Crestview Commons was to create Austin’s first transit-oriented development and act as a catalyst for the reinvention of North Austin at Lamar Street. In order to accomplish this goal, a 73-acre site, which was the former home of a large chemical company, was purchased and nearly two years was spent clearing and remediating the site. In addition, the HSR development team worked with the City of Austin to create high density entitlements and partner with Capital Metro to locate a commuter rail station on the Master Plan.

This redevelopment initiative provides a stimulating residential setting that includes a convenient concentration of retail and office uses - all built around a major stop on the City’s commuter rail system.
