Overview

The Christus Children’s Hospital of San Antonio is a 60,000-square-foot facility that includes a pediatric emergency department with physicians and nurses trained specifically in the care of children. The Children's Hospital features a KidStop, providing physician-ordered testing and outpatient treatments to children who do not require a visit to the emergency room. An array of pediatric specialists and primary care offices in this building provide care to the families in, and around, the Stone Oak area of far north central San Antonio.

Exterior components were incorporated to the Stone Oak medical office building to maintain image and continuity with its recently renovated sister project, CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in downtown San Antonio. To resemble the downtown project, in both brand consistency and color scheme, CHRISTUS Stone Oak has metal panels on the facades as well as a light above the Emergency Department entrance featuring translucent panels.
