Overview
The project has 2 warehouses with a total area of 36,058 sqm in a plot of 53,727 sqm in the Municipality of Cabanillas del Campo. Cabanillas del Campo is located
in a strategic location within the Ring 3 of Madrid (at 50 Km of Madrid and with excellent connections to the A-2 and R-2 motorways). The industrial area of Cabanillas del Campo is focused on medium and big size logistics (demand between 15,000 sqm and 60,000 sqm).
The warehouse has a precast concrete structure with a storage area of 31,595 sqm and office and mezzanine area of 4,463 sqm. The clear height is 11,50 m and a floor loading capacity of 7 Tn/sqm.
There are 33 loading docks and 4 level accesses. Light and heavy vehicle traffic is separated to increase safety inside the plot.
Opportunity, Solutions and Outcomes
The project is in a plot originally formed for a newspaper and catalog printing warehouse built in the 80s. The project team was able to successfully demolish the
former building and design a brand-new warehouse with very high standards and level specifications and comply with the most challenging ESG regulations
