Overview
Rowan is a 10-story, 105 foot-tall, Class-A apartment building consisting of 353 units and 88 partially below-grade parking spaces. Situated in one of the most rapidly transforming neighborhoods in Washington DC, the Brookland Submarket, Rowan offers residents authentic local establishments that give the area a unique identity. In recent years, Brookland has become a highly sought-after neighborhood by young, urban professionals given the improving amenity base, the access to public transit and the significant rent discounts to other close-in neighborhoods. In addition, the neighborhood is proximate to several of the most popular retail and entertainment districts for millennials in the city, including Union Market and H Street. Rowan meets the high demand for transit-oriented housing in DC - Located just one block away is the Rhode Island Metro Station, a Red Line station with direct connection to the employment core of Washington, DC.
Rowan is also situated one block from the Rhode Island Station retail center, granting residents access to over 100,000 square feet of neighborhood retail, restaurants, bike share services, and grocery stores. Rowan is highly amenitized with three floors of amenities, the first of which consists of a double- height lobby with 24/7 concierge, lounge area, mailroom, package room, bike storage, pet spa, and a fitness center (featuring an indoor/outdoor area and a yoga room). An open staircase leads up to the second-floor amenity area that includes more lounge space, a bar, a co-working area with conference rooms, and access to a courtyard with grilling stations and outdoor dining areas. The last of the amenities is located on the twelfth-floor penthouse level and consists of an indoor lounge opening up to an expansive roof deck and pool area. Rowan’s commanding height, 105 feet, provides unobstructed views of the surrounding neighborhood, including downtown D.C. to the south, the Basilica to the north and the Arboretum to the east from the elevated amenity areas.
